Short circuit means when a live wire and a eutrophication wire comes in direct contact due to which fire breaks down .

But usually this not happens as they have a plastic covering over them .

Over loading takes place when a lot of high voltage appliances are operated from a single power point .This causes damage to the appliances.

PLEASE MARK THIS AS BRAINLIST

heya here i m with your ans ...

2. High amount of current flows through the circuit .

3. The pottential difference at the point of short circuit will drop to zero .

Overloading ---

1. It occurs when large number of appliences are turned on simultaneously

2. Low ammout of current flows through the circuit as compared to short circuit .

3. The pottential difference does not drop to zero but it does reduce ..

hope it helps u
