Speed :- Its a scalar quantity . Don't have direction . Only have magnitude .  Can never be Negative . Possible to be zero . Speed = Distance / Time

Velocity :- Its a vector quantity . Have both direction and Magnitude . May be negative , positive and Zero . Velocity = Displacement / Time .
