SPEED:

Speed is defined as the rate of change of distance with respect to time.

Speed is a scalar quantity that means speed does not require direction,it just has magnitude.

S.I unit of speed is m/s.

Speed is greater or equal to velocity but can't be less than velocity.

VELOCITY:

Velocity is defined as the rate of change of displacement with respect to time.

Velocity is a vector quantity that means with magnitude it requires direction.

S.I.unit of velocity is same as that of speed that is m/s.

Velocity can be zero, equal to speed but can't be greater than speed.
