Speed is defined as the ratio of distance by total tiime taken. Velocity is the ratio of displacement by total time taken. Velocity can also be decribed as a speed with a particular direction.

* Speed = Distance / Time
→ It is a scaler quantity (which contains magnitude only not direction).
→ It is always positive or zero.
→ It is greater or equal to velocity.
