speed - it is a scaler quantity

speed

distance \div time

velocity-it is a vector quantity

velocity is equal to displacement upon time

rest -it means no motion

motion - it means movement

uniform motion - it has always a graph which is only in straight line

it means Movement in a straight line

non uniform motion - it has graph which does not have a straight line .

it means movement not in a straight line ➖

distance - it is the path covered by an object

displacement-it is the shortest distance covered by an object

Speed is distance travelled per unit time.

Velocity is displacement per unit time.

Rest can be defined as when the object is at stationary state or at the same place with respect to time.

Motion can be defined as when an object is moving with respect to time.

when an object travel equal distance in equal interval of time then it is said to be uniform motion.

When an object travel unequal distance in equal interval of time , then object is said to be in non uniform motion.

uniform acceleration means when the acceleration is uniform through out the period of time.

Non uniform acceleration means when the acceleration is not uniform through out the period of time.

Distance is the actual length from initial to final position covered by a body in certain interval of time.

Displacement is the shortest distance from initial to final position.
