1) in steady flow the velocity of fluid particles reaching particular Point is the same magnitude and direction at all times
2) the path taken by a particles in flowing fluid is called it's a line of low the tangent at any point on the line of law gives the direction of motion of that particles at that point
3) neighbouring layer of the fluid slide by each other smoothly
4) eg: a liquid passing through a glass tube with same velocity and name same direction

TURBULENT FLOW:
1) turbulent flow is featured by Eddy Currents or eddies
2) in turbulent flow internal friction is much greater than in streamline flow
3) eg: when a liquid is slowly passed through a pipe A pipe itself is one type of flow
