Answers
Answer:
i) Commercial farming is mainly practised in developed countries whereas subsistence farming in less developed or developing countries. ii) Commercial farming is cultivated for profits whereas subsistence farming is for the consumption of the farmer and his/her family.
Farmers who have less agricultural field do subsistence farming as they can only fulfill the need of their family and in case if some amount is extra then they will go to market.
But in the case of commercial farming they have large plots and hence they produce more so that they can sell in the market.
The major difference between subsistence farming and commercial farming is purpose of farming i.e commercial farming is done for the purpose of profit only but subsistence farming is done for the requirement of any individual family.
