tap root system mostly higher plants (trees) like mango , neem have this type of root system. the main root is called the primary which is further branches into secondary and tertiary root system, and last to root hairs . generally the leaves of these plants are reticulate (network like) in appearance.

fibrous root system mostly with lower plants like (monocot) grasses. there is bush sort of root system in them . leaves have parallel venation pattern.

Answer:

he taproot is a dominant root and is the source of many lateral roots that come from the primary root.Fibrous roots grow from the main stem of the plant and does not have a primary rootlike the taproot. They grow downward and outward, with repeating branches to form a mass of small roots.
