temperate evergreen forest are those forests which are confined to tropical zone and they do not shed their leaves and they receive rainfall and sunlight throught the year but decidious forests are those which shed their leaves at a same time in a year

temperate evergreen forests-these are also known as rain forests bcz they are confined to tropical
regions where heavy rainfall occurs throughout the year.all of the trees do not shed their leaves at same time.hence,the forests appear green.that's why such forests are known as evergreen forests.they are spread in the areas of zaire basin in africa,the amazon basin in south america,and many parts of south east asia. in india they are common in western ghats,Andaman and nicobar islands,kerela. the favourable conditions for these forests are heavy and well disturbed rainfall and hot climate throughout the year.
there is no temperate deciduous forests....there is tropical deciduous forests-they are also known as monsoon forests bcz they are common in monsoon ares of world.these forests are common in india,south china,east brazil,central parts of america.these forests thrive in regions where climate is hot,with distinct wet dry and wet season.deciduous forests receive summer rainfall between 100-200 cm.the vegetation is not so dense these forests have broad-leafed trees and they shed their leaves during dry season to conserve moisture.trees are medium in height.typical trees are sal,teak,sandalwood,bamboo and shisham.the common animals are lion,tiger and numerous kinds of reptiles
