Distinguish between the 2 methods of making artificial magnets?

Artificial magnets are man made magnets. By different methods two types of magnets can be formed: (i)Temporary magnets:-These do not have magnetic property but at the time of need these can be turned magnetic. These magnets are made from soft metals.(ii)Permanent Magnets:- Their magnetic nature cannot be deteriorated. These are formed by using  the hard and crystalline metals by placing them in electromagnetic field.
