Distinguish between-

1. Crust and Core

• Crust is the outer most layer of earth and we do live on earths crust.

• Core is defined as the inner most layer of earth with temperatures from 90,000 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Sia and Sima

• Sial is made up of silicon and aluminium.It is upper layer which forms a discontinuous cover over the Earth's crust and is completely absent the ocean floor. 

• Whereas, Sima is made up of silicon and magnesium and this is the second layer below sial which configure the ocean base.

3. Gutenberg Discontinuity and Mohorovicic Discontinuity

• Gutenberg discontinuity marks the margin between the lower mantle and the outer core of the earth.

• Mohorovicic discontinuity signs the boundary linking the upper mantle and the crust.
