Difference between Weather & Climate

Weather:

The state of the atmosphere at a particular place and time as regards heat, cloudiness, dryness, sunshine, wind, rain, etc. is called Weather. It is the day - to - day condition of atmosphere. It can change in short period of time. Weather is not fixed for a particular area.

Climate:

The weather conditions prevailing in an area in general or over a long period is called Climate. It is of long term. It can change over 3 - 4 monthes. Climate is fixed for a particular area.

Both Weather and Climate is determined by Meteorological Department of Delhi.

Difference between Condensation & Precipitation

Condensation:

The conversion of a vapour or gas to a liquid is called Condensation. It is the water which collects as droplets on a cold surface when humid air is in contact with it.

Precipitation:

Precipitation is any liquid or frozen water that forms in the atmosphere and falls back to the Earth. It comes in many forms, like rain, sleet, and snow. When the drops are heavy enough, they fall to the Earth. If a cloud is colder, like it would be at higher altitudes, the water droplets may freeze to form ice.
