Biodegradable is a term referred to all those things that can be decomposed by natural agents. Natural agents contain water, oxygen, acid rains, ultraviolet rays of the sun, microorganisms, etc. On the other hand, non-biodegradable substances are never be broken down or decomposed by environmental aspects.
Degradable bags should only be used for and placed into your general waste bin. Like degradable bags, biodegradable are often still plastic bags that have microorganisms added to break down the plastic. Compostable bags are made of natural plant starch, and do not produce any toxic material.
