(I)Primary activities are those activities that which involve exploitation of natural resources. It is the base for production of other goods that is it provides raw materials. Example: Agriculture, mining, animal husbandry. Tertiary activities are those activities that provide services to the people.

Answer: 1. Primary activities are the activities which include actriculturing,mining, fishing etc.

Tertiary activities are the activities which offer us various services like education, health etc.

2. Subsistence farming is a type of agriculture in which crops are grown and consumed by the farmer and his family.

Intensive subsistence agriculture- When farmers intensively cultivate the land to produce the variety of crops from a small piece of land, This farming tends to be intensive. So this typeof farming is known as intensive subsistence agriculture
