They are considered highest mountain ranges. Himalayas includes over hundred mountains. While purvanchal hills are the part of Himalayas. They consist of strong sand stone.

Purvanchal Hills

(1)Tyese are located in West Bengal,Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh.

(2)These are also called as Eastern Himalayas.

(3)It includes Naga,Patkoi and Lushai Hills.(4)It has medium altitud.

(5)It encloses Brahmaputra Valley.
