The resistance is the property of a conductor by virtue of which it opposes the flow of free electrons. It depends on
a) length of the conductor
b) Cross sectional area of conductor
c) Nature of material used to make the conductor (e.g copper, aluminium etc.)
d) Temperature of the conductor
Resistivity is an intrinsic property of a conductor and is independent of the length and cross sectional area of the conductor.
Hence two conductors of same nature of material but of different size and dimension will have different resistance but same resistivity.
Resistivity of a material depends on temperature only.
