Vessels is a syncyte formed by the piling up of many cells. Tracheids are not syncyte ,they are individuals cells. individual cells (vessel elements) are shorter than tracheids.

→They are unicellular.

→Their ends are tapering and oblique.

→They are multicellular.

→Their ends are rounded or transverse.

→They are large in size.
