TROPICAL EVERGREEN FOREST:
These forests are found in the areas of rainy parts of western ghats and the island groups of lakshadweep and andaman and nicobar islands.
Ebony mahogany and rosewood are the major trees in these forests.
The trees in these forests do not shed their leaves so it always remains evergreen.
DECIDUOUS FOREST:
These fprests are found mostly in the eastern parts of the country-noth eastern states along the foothills of himalayas,jharkhand and west orrisa and chattisgargh and eastern slopes of western ghats.
Teak,bamdoo,sal seshame,sandal wood and khair are the trees in these forests.
The trees in these forests shed their leaves for about 6-8 weeks in summer.
