Stratosphere :-

1.Ozone in the stratosphere protects us from the Sun's harmful ultraviolet rays.

2.However, ozone in the troposphere, closer to Earth's surface, is a pollutant and hazardous to our health.

3.It is the second layer of theatmosphere as you go upward.

4 . The stratosphere is found from about 7 to 30 miles (11-48 kilometers) above the Earth's surface.

Troposphere :-

1.Tropospheric ozone and other air pollutants are common in urban areas in late afternoon

2.The troposphere is thinner at the poles (averaging about 8km thick) and thickerat the equator (averaging about 16kmthick).

3.The temperature decreases with altitude of troposphere.

4.tropospheric ozone is less concentrated than stratospheric ozone, it is of concern because of its health effects.
