federal government 1)the power is divided among the central government and its various constituent units. 2)both the central and provincial government exercise equal power in federalism. 3)the provincial government is not subordinate to central government. Eg:India  Unitary government 1)there is either one form of government or the sub units are subordinate to central government. 2)the central government can order the central government.
