saturated hydrocarbons are those which have single bond in there mutual sharing for example ; -H-C-H( BY THE CARBONS TETRAVALENCY THERE ARE 4 hydrogen atom )
unsaturated hydrocarbons are those who has thee double and triple bond with the carbon

when hydrogen combine with unsturated hydrocarbon then it changes into saturated and this reactn is called hodrogenation or addition reactn it is used to change ghee to oil
