vector are those which has direction , magnitude , and must follow the triangle law of vector addition.
scaler r those who has magnitude not direction. hope this help u

velocity is a vector quantity and speed is the scalar quantity.vector has only direction but scalar has magnitude as well as direction.a car moving in a uniform speed is an example of vector and a person walking to school to home is a speed.
