Brazil has a variety of native vegetation. This paper gives introduction about caatinga in the north- eastern dry part, cerrado in central part, patanal in southwest, Amazon rain forest in north and northwest, grass- land in south, Atlantic rain forest in eastern coast and mangrove and marsh in coast lines.
