W = F.S (f is force and s is displacement) (w is work done) (si unit is J joules)

P = W/t (p is power, w is work done, t is time) ( si unit is W watt)

KE stands for kinetic energy = 1/2 mv2 ( m for mass, v for velocity)

PE stands for potential energy= mgh (m is mass, g is acceleration due to gravity, h is height.)

if u require more just post your question for another formula u need!!!!

remember that PE and KE have same SI unit J joules.

the difference is that work done is a measure of force

metor: thank you I need two ppints please
metor: points*
priya513: ok
priya513: force is derive from the component of motion of a body while work done is defined by the change in position
priya513: si unit of force is Newton and si unit of work is meter
priya513: may its help you
metor: thank you so much:-)
