distinguish between xylem and phloem

xylem is water conducting tissue and phloem is food conducting tissue .phloem can flow in both up and down direction but xylem can only flow in up direction xylem and phloem both had four parts most of the parts in xylem are dead except xylem parenchymal but in phloem most of the cells are alive except phloem fibres

xylem :it is a plan tissue helps plant to gain water from soil.
phloem :it is a plant tissue which carries out the food and nutrients to all the part of plant
