The basic difference between young and bulk modulus is shear modulus is that young modulus is ratio of tensile stress to tensile strain ,bulk modulus is ratio of volumetric stress to volumetric strain and shear modulus is ratio of shear stress to shear strain .

Hey mate,

◆ Young's modulus -

- It's the ratio of longitudinal stress to longitudinal strain within elastic limit.

Young's modulus = longitudinal stress / longitudinal strain

◆ Bulk modulus -

- It's the ratio of volume stress to volume strain within elastic limit.

Bulk modulus = volume stress / volume strain

◆ Shear modulus -

- It's the ratio of tangential stress to tangential strain within elastic limit.

Rigidity modulus = tangential stress / tangential strain
