Zinc nitrate- It reacts with ammonium hydroxide solution to form white precipitate. This white precipitate dissolve in excess ammonium hydroxide.

Lead nitrate- It reacts with ammonium hydroxide solution to form white precipitate. This white precipitate does not dissolve in excess ammonium hydroxide.
