Solid: Inter-molecular space of solid is least because particle shows strong inter-particle force of attraction.

Liquid: Inter-molecular space of liquid is lesser as it shows intermediate attractive forces between molecules.

Gas: Inter-molecular space of gas is higher as compared to solid and liquid thus, it has weak attractive force between molecule.

Based on density:

Solid- Solids have high density.

Liquid- Liquids have intermediate density.

Gas- Gas possess very low density.

Based on kinetic energy of the particle at a given temperature:

Solid- Particles of solid possess very low kinetic energy.

Liquid- The kinetic energy of particles of liquid is intermediate.

Gas- Molecules of gas possess very high kinetic energy.
