convection : it is heat transferred by mass , it is verticle movement of air .

advection : is the heat transfer by fluid movement ,it is horizontal movement of air .

Advection:

1. Advection heat transfer is always confined to the horizontal plane.

2.Advection is the movement of paticles that are dissolved in the fluid.

For example: Transport of pollutants in the flow of river.
