Answer:# comes under  are the direct elections..as i couldnt directly write difference in column wise.. so please understand it... thank you...

Explanation:

a)

#Direct Election

Indirect Election

#Representatives are chosen directly by the people.

Representatives or the Head of the State are elected indirectly by the people. They only elect the intermediate body or the Electoral College.

#Members of the Lok Sabha, the State Legislative Assembly and those of local bodies are directly elected.

Members of Rajya Sabha, the State Legislative Council and the President and the Vice-President are elected indirectly.

#The number of voters is very large and this body is called the electorate.

The number of voters is very small and they constitute the Electoral College.

#Law regulates the qualifications, age, etc. of voters and establishes eligibility requirements for State officials.

The elected representatives are treated at par. Eligibility criteria for State officials are similar to that for direct elections.

Answer:

Direct elections includes electing members to the parliament directly, such as, you vote for a candidate who is going to become the PM. In Indirect election, this is not the case. There, you cannot vote for the PM directly. In Indirect Election, you vote for member of your consituency belonging to a party. If that party wins, they form the government and the PM is selected indirectly and not directly.

Hope this helped!
