modern irrigation
-- machines are used
-- takes less time
-- takes very very less effort for work
-- is very expensive as there is usage of electricity and motor.
--  example sprinkeler system, drip irrigation

traditional irrigation
-- cattle or human labour is used
-- takes a large amount of time
-- takes a lot of effort in this work
-- is not costed on anything . just for tools very less amount of money is given
