Distribution of food and respiratory gases, dispatching waste to excretory organs, and transport of substances in living things is known as Excretory system and transportation.

The excretory system in an organism is solely responsible to remove metabolic waste products from the body. Metabolic waste products are those end products that are produced after a vital functioning of the body is carried out. Example:- Breathing. We take in oxygen, and after our cells consume the oxygen, carbon dioxide is produced which then needs to be released.

The main excretory organs are:- Kidney (urine), skin (sweat), lungs (carbon dioxide).

Example:- Urine, removes excess urea, water and keeps a balance of all the chemicals in our body. The kidney filters the blood to remove it.

The whole distribution of food starting from the mouth to the excretory organs comes under the transportation of food.
