-Soil type:-If soil type is favourable for growth of crops, population density will be high.

-Climatic conditions-Climate should be suitable for comfortable life and growth of crops.

-Terrain-It should be easy enough to construct houses.

Population refer to the total number of individual present in any particular location. It is directly controlled by the following factors such as-

  • Elevation- It is an important factor as the number of population living in the low lying areas is more than it is in the hilly regions.
  • Climate- Climate also is equally important, as the areas where the climatic conditions are favorable, it is suitable for the people to live and to do daily works.
