India is one of the 12 mega biodiversity countries. The India's is very rich in Flora and Fauna.

The distribution of wildlife in India are in the following :-

  • The elephants are found in Assam, Karnataka and Kerala.

  • One horned rhinoceros are found in Assam and west Bengal.

  • Gir Forest is the last remaining of Asiatic loins.

  • Peacock, ducks, parakeets, cranes are some birds found in forest of the county.

  • Tigers and leopards aren't mainly found in the forest of Madhya Pradesh.

  • India is the only country with the habitat of lions and tigers in the world.

  • In Himalayan region Ladakh is a home of yak and ox.

  • In the coastal areas theres a huge quantity of Crocodiles, Gharials and turtles.
