in the displacement reaction an element reacts with a compound to form an element and compound
while in a double displacement reaction to compounds react together to form another two compounds in which highly reactive element displaces the least reactive element
in it, (1) is double displacement reaction
(2) is displacement reaction

Hey !!!!

Displacement Reaction : Only 1 ion is Displaced here....
Double Displacement Reaction : Here, Both The Ions are Exchanged...
1)HCl+NaOH=NaCl+H2O
Since, Here, Both The Ions are exchanging, Its Double displacement reaction
2) Fe+CuSO4= FeSO4 + Cu
Since, Here, Only one Ions are exchanging, Its Displacement reaction...

Thanks...!!!
Hope This Helps...!!!!
