Difference between conduction, convection and radiation.
Explanation:
- In conduction heat transfer takes place between objects with direct contact, in convection heat transfer takes place within the fluid, while in radiation heat transfer occurs in form of waves .
- Conduction takes place from a hotter to a colder object, covection is the heat transfer mechanism in troposphere (generally occurs due to density difference) , radiation is transfer of energy by electromagnetic radiation.
- Conduction continues untill the temperature on both the objects is equal, convection occurs till the temperature difference exists, radiation can transfer energy through empty space.
