Divenshi has a total of rupees 590 as currency note in denominations of rupees 50 rupees 20 and 10 the ratio of 50 notes and rupees 20 notes is 3 ratio 5 if if she has a total of 25 notes how many notes of each denomination she has

let the no. of 10 rupees note = Z
50 rupees note = X
20 rupees note = Y
X+Y+Z = 25...............(i)
Z = 25-(X+Y)..............(ii)
Now
X:Y=3:5
5X = 3Y........(iii)
Total amount of rupees is 590
so
50X + 20Y + 10Z = 590
5X + 2Y + Z = 59
from equation (ii) & (iii)
3Y+2Y+25-X-Y=59
4Y - X = 59 -25
4Y - X = 34
multiply both side by 5
20Y - 5X =170
again from equation (iii)
20Y - 3Y = 170
17Y = 170
Y = 10
X = (3Y)/5
= 30/5
= 6
Z = 25 - (X+Y)
= 25 - (10+6)
= 9
