Diversity in flora and fauna (wildlife and animals) are influenced by climatic and topographic conditions because they are adapted to climatic conditions ., if cold climate then animals with warm fur to withstand the cold., if hot place then animals like camels are adapted to survive the heat.
another example for this is normal plant and cactus, cactus leaves are adapted to become thorns to conserve water and their roots are very long to get more water. this is very different from the regular plant.
Topographic conditions:- animals like goat and yak in the hilly regions have more hair and strong legs for climbing up and down, while normal animals in plains doesn't have these special adaptive features.
