The word diversity means the state of being very different. The statement that "diversity is a colourful painting. The colours are different but the value of each colour is the same" is contrary to India because India is the biggest example of that colourful painting (diversity). It consists of different people belonging to from different religions like the different colours and it is these people that make India such diverse and colourful. Every religion in India plays an important in making India what it is. Without these different colours(religions) India would be like a colourless painting.
