sum of the ratio = 9+5 = 14

Now divided the total amount by sum of the ratio.

we get,

105/14

= 7.5

so , here the division of the amount is 9x = 9(7.5) = £67.5

and

5x = 5(7.5) =£37.5

therefore, the amount when divided into the ratio of 9:5 is

£ 67.5 and £37.5
