Here the given ratio = 2 : 7

So

$\displaystyle \sf{First \: share = \frac{2}{2 + 7} = \frac{2}{9} }$

$\displaystyle \sf{ Second \: share = \frac{7}{2 + 7} = \frac{7}{9} }$

Hence

$\displaystyle \sf{First \: part = 1458 \times \frac{2}{9} = 324}$
