sum of x,y =1500

x+y=1500

then

x=1500-y be second eq

sub first eq and second eq

then (1500-y)/10=(2y/25)+60

150-y/10 = (2y/25)+60

-y/10 = (2y/25)-90

-y/10-2y/25=-90

(5y+4y)/50=90

9y=4500

y=500

then x=1000
