Here we have to divide 20 pens between Nikhil and Akhil in the ratio 3:2

So, let Nikhil and Akhil get 3x and 2x pens respectively

So, 3x + 2x = 20

             5x = 20

               x = 20/5

              x = 4

So, pens with Nikhil = 3x

                                 = 3 × 4

                                 = 12

pens with Akhil = 2x

                          = 2 × 4

                          = 8

Hence, Nikhil and Akhil will get 12 and 8 pens respectively
