The 27 nakshatras can also be called as asterism.
Both astrology of Hindu system and Lunar Calendar follows them.
These 27 nakshatras have their own period of 13 to 14 days in a year. Different nakshatras come in different seasons.
Summer- Anuradha, Purva Ashadha, Visakha, Mula, Jyeshta, Sravana and Uttara Ashadha.
Winter- Rohini, Kritika, Arudra, Mrigashira, and Punarvasu.
Monsoon- Punarvasu, Magha, Pushya, Purva Phalguni or Pubba, Ashlesha, Uttara or Uttara Phalguni, Chaitra, and Hasta.
