1/3 X² - 2X - 9 = 0

=> X²/3 - 2X -9 = 0

=> X²-6X-27X/3 = 0

=> X²-6X-27 = 0 × 3

=> X²-6X-27 = 0

=> X²-9X +3X -27 = 0

=> X(X-9) +3(X-9) = 0

=> (X-9) (X+3) = 0

Hence,

(X-9) and (X+3) are two factor of Polynomial X²/3 - 2X -9
