divide 3000 into two parts such that simple interest on the first part 4 years at 8% per annum in equal to the simple interest on the second part for 2 years at 9% per annum​

Let the parts be x and 3000-x

(x*4*8)/100= ((3000-x)*2*9)/100

16x= 27000-9x

25x=27000

x=1080

3000-x= 1920
