One part =14 and other =20

Let one part be x

And other be (34-x)

ATQ.

4/7x=2/5(34-x)

4x/7=2(34-x)/5

4x/7=68-2x/5

5×4x=7(68-2x)

20x=476-14x

20x+14x=476

34x=476

X=476/34=14

Therefore, one part =x=14

Other part =(34-x) =(34-14)=20
