Dear Student,

● Answer -

x = ₹ 175

y = ₹ 105

z = ₹ 75

◆ Explanation -

Let three parts be be x, y and z.

From given conditions,

3x = 5y, y = 3x/5

3x = 7z, z = 3x/7

Original number is ₹ 355.

x + y + z = 355

x + 3x/5 + 3x/7 = 355

(35 + 21 + 15) x/35 = 355

x = 355 × 35 / 71

x = 5 × 35

x = ₹ 175

So other numbers will be -

y = 3x/5 = 3×175/5 = ₹ 105

z = 3x/7 = 3×175/7 = ₹ 75

Hence, three parts are ₹ 175, ₹ 105 and ₹ 75.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
