EVALUATION

Let smaller number = x

∴ Bigger number = 36 - x

So by the given condition

$\sf{7x = 5(36 - x)}$

$\sf{ \implies \: 7x = 180 - 5x}$

$\sf{ \implies \:12x = 180 }$

$\sf{ \implies \:x = 15 }$

Hence smaller number = 15 and Bigger number = 21
