Given f(x) = 3x^3 + x^2 + 2x + 5.

Given g(x) = 1 + 2x + x^2

Now, divide f(x) by g(x).

                         3x - 5
                     ----------------------------
1 + 2x + x^2)  3x^3 + x^2 + 2x + 5

                      3x^3 + 6x^2 + 3x

                      --------------------------------

                                    -5x^2 - x  + 5

                                 - 5x^2 - 10x - 5

                      ---------------------------------

                                                9x + 10.

Therefore Quotient = 3x - 5 and remainder = 9x + 10.

Hope this helps!
